Up early this morning, had to bring to the hubby in to work, so now I am wasting my morning away at one of the local coffee shops. I love this part of town, Old Town Salinas is magical, it gives off this energy, but it’s not overwhelming. The peace I feel when I walk these streets is amazing, it’s a little too cold right now, but maybe after my hot chocolate and muffin I will feel like going for a little walk with my camera! I just wanted to drop in and say good morning to myself

I don’t know what hit me, but I felt like sketching, something I haven’t really done in a long time, I was so excited, but once I started, I felt like poop! I realized that I wasn’t very good at it, and that I wasn’t having fun, AT ALL. I felt so sad, so I ripped up my paper and sat all mad, so what if I’m emotional! After a few minutes, I realized that I had changed. I no longer could express myself they way I had at a time in my life. I have since found new ways of expression, so I turned my trash into this…

My first card from the Surprise Project came in today, I am soooo happy, this is such a pretty card, and it came all the way from Australia.

I had so many problems with this over the weekend, the first time I did it the file would not upload or reopen. I tried it again and before saving the program closed, and the last time I was able to do it, but when it saved for some reason it made it this small, and then I realized it had the wrong date, I give up. Tough week to get this out, but I tried folks!
